My full name is Nathaniel James Selders and I was born in Omaha, Nebraska. When I was 3 years old I was diagnosed with a degenerative disease called Muscular Dystrophy. I lived with my parents and my older brother Daniel in Omaha until I was 3 or 4. I remember laying on the pull-out couch with Daniel watching Dragon Ball Z specifically the Funimation Dub Lord Slug Movie on VHS, which is still one of my favorite DBZ Movies of all time. After Omaha we moved to Griswald, Iowa, the reason we moved is that we lived in the bad part of Omaha. So moving to a small town in Iowa was a good change. After 2 years there was an accident in our kitchen, my mom was cooking dinner and a grease fire started. Our kitchen was burnt and we had to move. We stayed with my grandma for a little bit, then we moved to town not far from Griswold called Anita. Anita was nice, and calm not mention the town slogan was and still is, " A Whale of a Town" it was small, I know it doesn't make sense. I basically grew up in Anita, and Anita is where I meet my long-time best friend Kris. Kris and I have been friends since I was 6 years old and we have been through everything together. I remember spending the night at Kris' house. Daniel and I brought our GameCube and we just got Medal of Honor: Rising Sun from our Dad. Daniel, Kris, Adam who is Kris' older brother and I all played 2 vs 2 four-way split-screen. I miss moments like these, just hanging out play games. Around this time I really started to lose the ability to walk and on top of that I had to wear a body brace to try and fix my Scoliosis and Kyphosis, it didn't work and I soon became wheelchair bound. When I was 9 years old one of the hardest things for my family and I had to deal with and I wish no-one ever has to deal with this. My father passed away from a heart attack in his sleep called the " Sleeping Widow". I remember being at school eating lunch and my mom came to pick me up and she didn't tell me what was going on until we got home. She sat my brother and me down and there was a pastor there and she said, " your dad passed away" and I don't really remember feeling sad until several years later. Skipping ahead several years we moved to Atlantic, Iowa which is a town over from Anita. When I was in school in Anita and Atlantic I was bullied and picked on for being in a wheelchair, looking different and for my interest in anime and Metal/Rock music. When I was a Sophomore I dropped out and started doing impressions on Youtube but only recently I have started working on a Voice-Over Demo and getting advise from Steve Blum not directly but from a closed group on Facebook he created. I have also been working towards getting my GED and because of going back to school I found out IWCC offered a Voice-Over Class. I took the class and was taught by a Voice-Over artist by the name Brian Tone who has worked for FOX, Amazon, Etc. So that's pretty much a summed up version of my life.
